Hi, I'm Jordan and I am dedicating this site to my photo journal from my trip to Okinawa in December of 2013. This main home page is for you to get to know me and the project but the heart of the site lies under the journal section where I will be talking about my day to day experiences and feeling through the images I took. I hope you enjoy the images and my reflections as I think we call all benefit from reading and writing journals like this.
We were instructed to keep a daily photo jounal on the trip. Taking pictures of things we see while we are out during the day and reflecting upon those images at night on our downtime. In the end we needed to come up with 10-12 images with corresponding reflections.
The easiest part of the process, the picture taking, was done daily at all of our site visits. The hard part was going back later and norrowing down which images to use for journaling.
After each day we would reflect as a group either on the bus or at the hotel. This reflection was meant to help us inquire about things we saw and give us helpful content to reflect upon in our journals.
The hardest but most beneficial step was journaling. Some days were harder than others, but in the end journaling on your reflections is a very rewarding experience.
